🍂 A Grateful Heart at Geil 🍂

As we move through November, I can’t help but reflect on how much there is to be thankful for at Geil. Here are just a few things that quickly come to mind:

🍁 The teamwork I see every day — between staff and students, students and students, and staff and parents.
🍁 The friendly conversations that fill our hallways, our front porch during drop-off and pickup, and among our amazing staff.
🍁 The high fives shared between staff and students throughout the day — simple moments that mean so much.
🍁 The hugs and high fives between our older and younger students — it’s heartwarming to see those connections growing in the halls and on the playground.
🍁 The way our students and staff are embracing “The Heart of Geil” and living out the five words that represent it. It’s inspiring to see everyone noticing and celebrating kindness, respect, and care in action.

I’m truly grateful to be part of such a caring and connected school community.Wishing all our Bulldog families a safe, happy, and gratitude-filled November! 💛

🚶‍♂️ Morning Drop Off Reminder🚸

Doors do not open until 7:40 AM for breakfast. Therefore, there is no staff supervising on the front porch until then. Gates do not open until 7:50 AM.  If the gates aren't open yet, we ask that you remind your students instead of running around and chasing friends, to please sit on the steps, benches, or the grass until gates open.

🚶‍♂️ Student Safety Reminder 🚸

Please remind your child to use crosswalks when entering or leaving school and never run or walk through the drive-through lane. Keeping everyone safe is our top priority—thank you for helping us protect our Bulldogs!

Arbiter-Back to School Forms

We still have some students who are missing their back to school forms in Arbiter. Completing these forms is essential in order to ensure accurate student information needed in the school office, health office, and classroom.

🍂November lunch

This year, due to space and scheduling limits, this event will be for students only this year. 🦃 Although, we would like to invite you some other times into our building for lunch during the month November.

🍁Guest meal costs $4.00. Cash or check can be paid at the office on the day you eat.

🍁2 guests per 1 student

🍁If you have students in multiple grades, we can not grab one (or more) to eat with each other. In this case, you can eat at both lunches or come on multiple days.

🍁If you are eating school lunch, please let the office know the day before. This ensures we have enough food ordered for everyone before the morning deliveries.  

🍁Unfortunately, we are very limited on space for preschool and are not able to have parents for lunch in preschool, but we encourage you to attend the November Family Engagement Night.  

🍁You can sign up online or call into the office.

We’re reaching out for a little help to restock our Student Care Closet — a special place where all students can grab what they need, whether it’s snack or personal care items. Your donations make a huge difference!
